We're back in SF, after a great time at Cloudforce NYC.
The event at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City was action packed, and full with over 5,000 attendees. The Seesmic team was there in full force, manning the booth and talking with some awesome current and potential Seesmic users.
The event opened up with a few interviews, one of which was with our CEO, Loic Le Meur. Video of the interview and demo below...
The video above highlights the new Chatter integration in Seesmic for Android, and the power that results from having internal collaboration alongside external social networks. Want to try it for yourself? Download the latest Android update.
A few nice quotes from Paul Young's blog post about the event
"One example is Seesmic. Founded by my session co-presenter Loic Le Meur, Seesmic is a Twitter client. Well, that’s like saying a jumbo jet is a chair because it has a place to sit. Seesmic, which I will soon talk more about, is the Swiss army knife of collaboration clients and as such perfectly encapsulated the conference for me. It is something that is privately developed by a small team of fanatically driven people and it is poised to help the world pivot." thanks, Paul!
and very kind words from Hugh Macken in Seven Takeaways from Cloudforce

Looks like fun? Join us at the next Cloudforce event in Paris, France on 5/4/2011.
my pleasure, Hugh, I am not sure I understand your question, what do you mean?
Kfestus: it's simply loading tweets that did not load while the app was closed or your phone was off, it's a very classic feature now, in any apps you always have a "gap" when the app is shut down for tweets not loading, normal, they can't. It was always there we're just helping you see them. We will change them though.

Thanks for much for the mention of my post. It was great to see the Seesmic team at #cloudforce and learn more about the chatter integration within the seesmic environment. Just curious: Is the same type of integration available with seesmic linkedin, foursquare, twitter and other streams within the salesforce chatter and service cloud UI?

The "load missing tweets" bar for Seesmic on Android is annoying. I click it but it doesn't go away. Does this mean my tweets are loaded or not? Is this supposed to be a feature? Why didn't all my recent tweets load in the first place? Can I turn this off? I've been a Seesmic Android user since it came out. I'm thinking about switching now though.
